K.T.Nfor future reference it was listed at $580 today with a strike trough the price of $800
It's a fair discount. But the 16-35 F4 IS is much better, with less vignetting plus with IS you get more keepers, and better video.

Will this work with a T2i?

For a t2i I would get a Canon 10-22 f/3.4-4.5. It’s a great lens for a great price. If you’re concerned with the price you could go for the cheaper 10-18 f4.5-5.6. That’s also a great wide lens for crop sensors.

Great lens, my most used travel lens for a few years, performed great. If the 16-35mm f/4L IS is out of your price range, this is a great alternative.

I've used this lens extensively over the last 7 years. It's been through the wringer, but it still performs flawlessly. It is shorter and lighter than the 16-35 and is excellent for landscape photography, or any type of photography that requires a wide FoV. Moreover, it has a very short focus throw which makes AF super snappy.
