This is a sweet camera and a very good deal for the body alone. I will say though that if you are willing to go refurb from Canon directly you can save an additional $100 and get a full 1 year US warrantee. So that is something to consider. I have bought many lenses and cameras from the refurb department at Canon with great results. Did have one problem with an s95 but they fixed it quickly and covered shipping both ways.
With that said, I have had a 6D since inception and it is the best Canon SLR I have owned. It is lighter than the 5D and does 99% of the functions while having built in WiFi and GPS. Fantastic camera, would but it again in a heartbeat so I can only imagine how nice the Mark II is... Nice work Massdrop!

DetexAgree Detex about Canon refurb, especially on their higher end products, not sure I would buy a refurb Rebel. Refurbs come and go really fast on the Canon website.
The current Canon deal is truly $100 less than this Massdrop offer. However, that deal ends April 28. It is two $100 off deals they are running. Canon is in the middle of a big sale on their website.
This drop is for a US spec camera, so the Canon warranty should be good.

DetexThe consensus seems to be the 6DII is actually worse than the 6D. The original 6D was significantly better than it's supposed big brother the 5D3. This time, Canon was not taking chances and deliberately crippled the 6D2 to make sure it does not cannibalize 5D4 sales. Considering you can get a brand-new 6D for under $1000, it's a much better choice.

fazalmajidNot counting: better AF, larger sensor (more density with even same [noise] quality is a better quality afer all), better noise control at high iso's, better picture processing, color range, continuous shooting... 6Dm2 and 6D dynamic ranges are comparable, it's hard to find differences when working with RAWs, and I processed hungreds of photos very precisely. "Terrible DR" is a histeric act. This is not worse camera than its predecessor . it's worse camera that was expected. Still it's better camera, though. Many of "worse in every aspect" myths are just ... well... myths... I Tested both cameras, and my judgement is: 6Dm2 is significally better than 6D. Yes, the sensor should be better after all these years of developement. Pity. No, buying 6D is not a better option, as the changes are more than cosmetic. IMHO, of course.
