A word of caution: I managed to cross-thread the cap, something I had never done on any ink bottle before. The aftermath was not pleasant to deal with. I blame the tilted bottle for I cannot tell if the cap is put on straight 😈

I bought two bottles while in Zurich for 30 a piece so not a bad price I guess. I bought delicate green and ultra violet. I haven't tried violet but delicate green ran fairly dry comparatively to Iroshizuku or Sailor/Bungubox inks in a Sailor Pro Gear F nib. Not that I don't like it but it was just a thing I noted, the color is fantastic and the pen doesn't skip or anything when I'm using Rhodia paper.

I have the Ultra Violet and I recommend it highly. In the Lamy Dialog 3 EF, the ink is lubricated enough to show off the slight line variation. If you like muted dark tones, this is a very dark purple, which caught me by surprise in a good way as I compared it to the other purples in my collection. As for shading and other characteristics, FPN has a review on it. The bottle design is unique and the chromed cap is tactile, but as a functional design it is a total failure. At low ink levels the tilt actually makes matters worse. The instructions, printed in 2 pt type and light color makes it near impossible to read, shows in a diagram that you’d need to place the bottle back in the original box so the bottle is now upright, and *then* you can take advantage of the tilt. For that reason the instructions suggest that you don’t throw away the box. The drop price is probably the best deal at this time, since this ink is not commonly discounted. Seems like it might be a good idea to remove the Oct 2016 comment where drop participants are told the manufacturer decided to cancel the order over pricing concerns? Leaving that comment on the page is sure to cause more confusion than clarity. I'd also recommend removing the comment from @KinRuan--not for clarity, but because reading his whiny, crybaby tantrum makes him sound weak and pitiful!

Hey everyone. We have just been informed that aran d'Ache has decided to not fulfill this drop due to concerns over the displayed pricing here. Our vendor does not expect they will ever receive the pens from this drop so we will unfortunately have to cancel the groups order and refund everyone. elimelendezthis is fucking ridiculous. i bought this set as Christmas gift for my GF and now it's just gone. wasting my time. if they are concerning the price, why would they ever agree to run this drop? And our order just get canceled due to vender's fault, not ours. I believe MD should do sth like coupon code or free shipping for next drop for the loss of drop contributors. This is the 2nd drop this month i have that getting cancelled due to vender. I am tired to participate further drops.

We've been in touch with the vendor regarding the group's order and they've let us know that they are still working to gather and pack the group's order for shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey. We will continue to check in with them throughout the fulfillment process and update the group again as soon as everything is en route to us!

Awaiting confirmation! We are still in contact with the vendor and just awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing tomorrow morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these in our warehouse.
