I do not understand why the Drop offers non-polarized, colored lense sunglasses. They DO NOT stop reflected glare from the road, water, glass, etc. Lense polarization is an excellent "safety" quality that needs to be specified by the DROP on all sunglasses it offers their members.

Some people need non-polarised lenses for reading instruments on a screen, such as on a plane. Polarized lenses interfere with that, try on a computer screen.

I agree. Randolph Engineering has been making pilot sunglasses for decades. I had a pair when I was assigned to the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing. Randolph also makes polarized sunglasses for the vast majority of persons that are not in the aviation field. My expression was directed to those who drive cars, motorcycles, boats and where glare could block or blind your vision and possibly contribute to an accident or even worse. ✌✌✌
