OMG! You have to remove the buckle on one end in order for it to fit through your pant loops! Just like most other tacticle belts! So I have to use more than 2 brain cells in order to put this belt on? Like, I actually have to take a extra second out of my day to wear this belt? That means it must be a sign for the end of the world! Oh no! Apparently, trying to comprehend the design, and having to use basic motor skills, turns this belt into a Rubik's Cube for a lot of people. Like, really? It's not brain science or rocket surgery to put on a tactical belt. Complaining about how the buckle doen't fit through your pant loops, when all you have to do is take one end of the buckle off, just makes you look stupid. Just saying.
If anyone has questions, just let me know :)

CarbonTacticsNoob question, what would be the deciding factor between a single vs double thick belt?
rossjasonIf you you’re going to carry a lot of weight on the belt, like a firearm, the double has the rigidity to do that very well. Otherwise, the single layer is usually sufficient. Thanks for the question!

If the buckle fit through the belt loops, if be a great belt, but it doesn't.

MJLiptakWell, like with other tactical belts, whether the cobra buckle or the magnetic one, just take the buckle off the end and it slides through almost any pant loop.

Arrived weeks early and took only two days to ship from the manufacturer. This is entirely unacceptable.

CarbonTacticsMy pant size fluctuates between 33-36. I wear my pants on my hips. What size should I get? Adjustabl?
AGLBFor the single layer version, I would go with a size large to be safe, because you can always trim the strap shorter. However, you would probably be fine with a size Regular as well, since our belts tend to run on the long side. Let me know if you have any other questions :)

I bailed on this drop, the shipping seemed steep and I had already bought a heap of new gear...
Though this belt looks awesome... Really awesome. And the drop price was still pretty good. I do not think I will miss the next drop... If there is one.

CarbonTacticsI purchased a cobra strap in a previous drop, single layer. I was interested in getting this belt as well but with a double layer. How precise is the sizing? I have a waist 32-34 depending on the pants. Would a D size be risking buying a product that does not fit?
nielydanBecause you're on the edge between sizes, I would measure the distance around your waist, through the belt loops. Then use the left column "waist size" to decide. Since pants sizes vary, it's hard to say with certainty, but you'd probably be fine with either a C or D.

I got my belt around late sept, and I’ve been using it since. Very nice belt. Unfortunately the bar you wrap the strap around just disappeared on me as I was taking it off and I can’t find it. I don’t even know if it reattaches. Is there anything I can do?
MaudleyHi Maudley, can you send us an email (avonlea@sargentresearch.com), if you haven't already? I definitely want to make sure this got resolved for you. Thanks!
