@CarbonTactics From the reviews it seems the recessed passthrough/lock has fixed the "jutting out" problem from the other belts -- any chance of re-releasing the Quicky Magnetic or Badgercache with this improvement? On a slightly-related note, any possibility of a less-wide variant of either? Since I don't need it for CCW. I have a "normal" half-inch Metolius hook belt that is pretty much perfect for casual use.

Beauty...a little to wide and a lot to expensive, though.

I prefer the double-catch style that only costs $9.99 - search for “WERFORU Tactical Belt”

I would go with a size Large. It might be a little on the long side, but you can always trim it shorter. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Old age has also lessened the need to immediately remove my belt............except when I'm in the bathroom.

I can pick up some free polypropylene at Home Depot to tie my pants up with and have $60 to buy another knife with. Maybe I should invest in some suspenders. If I were a gun owner, I am sure the level of my cynicism would fall dramatically.

No issues that I'm aware of. It should be treated like any other belt. Let me know if you have any other questions!

3.8 cm width? For 60 bucks? That's laughably bad. Belts like these should have atleast 4-4.4 cm and thick nylon weave to back it up.

The strap is indeed 1.5" wide, and the nylon webbing is very supportive. We also offer a double-layer version for use as a gun belt. Let me know if you have any questions :)

I never understood these quick-release belts. I'm not a chippendale's dancer. I have no need to remove my belt in a single fluid motion. Also, I damn sure don't need my belt to accidentally release and my heavy-ass CCW drag my pants down
