DSH007Agreed. It's been so long since I've seen anything I've been interested in.
vongHonest question here. What would you like to see more of? @DSH007 @vong Cheers :) Mike

CarbonTacticsGenerally? DEALS! There used to be legitimately great deals on Massdrop.. on products that were useful to me, in a variety of categories. Now it seems I log in here and there are a few watches, some fantasy knives, the occasional pair of hipster sunglasses, and maybe the odd curiosity, such as this key holder. Where has the camping equipment gone? Useful knives/tools (yes, I know there are some, but usually for ~ the same $ as everywhere else..)? Clothing/shoes/etc? A year or two ago it seemed there were 20-25 new items added per day, representing a much broader category range.. now, it's fewer than ten, and it seems to be the same items rotated out every few weeks. And most of these at prices that are the same or only a few dollars cheaper than other retailers, where you don't have to wait forever and a day to receive your item. I used to be willing to wait for a something that I ordered here because I was getting it at a deal that represented significant savings. This hasn't been the case in quite a while.. "Drop" seems to now focus all of their energy on peddling their own products, rather than securing solid deals for customers on a variety of products. I used to sing the praises of "this awesome site called Massdrop" and recommend it to all my friends for "great deals on cool stuff." Since the refresh, I see no reason to recommend "Drop" to anyone.. It's unfortunate, but it is what it is I guess..
DSH007Thanks for the thoughtful response. I'm just a vendor for Drop, but I do know that they read comments, so your feedback will hopefully be read by them as well. As far as my brand (Carbon Tactics), I definitely appreciate it. "Great deals on cool stuff" is a solid business model. If there's some particular type of product or cool new thing that somebody should be making, I want to know about it. If it's something in line with what I can make, I want to make it! My wife and I run our business with just one other employee, and we're a very small part of the community here, but we'll do our best to bring out some more cool new products at a good price. We have a couple in the works right now, so hopefully you'll see those soon ;) Thanks again for replying.
