Good observation :) Titanium is indeed heavier, and when we say Ti, we really mean it haha. I always tell people that it's lighter than steel, but heavier than aluminum. Regarding the curvature of the buckle: It should always be worn so as to conform to your waist. We recently moved the engraving on the buckles to the back side, so newer buckles have the engraving hidden from view when worn. However, we are still in the process of clearing out some of the older stock. I believe if you ordered a copper buckle, it would still have the engraving in the front. I'm sorry for the confusion! If you'd like to exchange it for a different buckle color, just shoot me an email (email@example.com). Please let me know if there's anything else I can do for you. Thanks!
