Size chart makes no sense. A man with a 34 waist does NOT wear size 29 pants

Hi Cramit, the best bet is to measure your waist circumference with a tape measure (through the belt loops) and use that "waist size" to determine which size you need. The printed size on pants often varies a lot from the real size, and in our experience, the real measured size is typically about 4 or 5 inches greater. Your mileage may vary, but using your real measured size will always result in a belt that fits well. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
