These keycaps do appears to have the same shape as these: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/massdrop-x-matt3o-devtty-custom-keycap-set Could someone confirm it's actually the case?

They do not share the same profile - see https://www.massdrop.com/talk/1624/about-mt-3-profile-and-dev-tty-set for a side view of the MT3 profile.
Here's a picture of the profile for some of the more common key-cap sets:

SA profile from Signature Plastics is essentially the original hi profile keycap; decades old. That MT3 is an entirely new profile, which looks at least moderately closer to Topre HiPro caps.

I've gathered as much from @smoyer's answer. They do look similar, though. No?

I'm not sure that my fingers would notice the difference between those profiles ... I didn't mean to imply that they were dramatically different but they definitely are different mold sets.

Similar in that it is high profile, sure. Not really much else unfortunately. You asked for confirmation on whether or not it has the same shape as matt3o's MT3, and it doesn't. This discussion was ongoing in the drop you linked, so your answers were already there.
