I find it quite odd that this drop is advertises at $34.99 when it would cost me near $150 to get a complete set for my keyboard (magicforce 82), more than the keyboard itself!
Any hint as to where I can get a cool set, other than just changing the Esc key with one bought on aliexpress?

BelgorathThe advertised price is due to this product actually consisting of multiple smaller ones, and the Massdrop website/storefront was not designed for these keycap groupbuys in mind when it was first created. So one item has to be the primary one in the system, which in this case is the Alphas kit that is currently sitting at 34.99$.

BelgorathThe advertised price should never be considered when looking at custom made products on Massdrop- it's impossible to be accurate because everyone's going to choose different options.
Also, it's really common in this hobby to have keycaps that are sometimes 3-5x more than the keyboard itself. If that scares you, then you should probably stop this hobby immediately.
In regards to your second question, I've re-read it 5 times and I have no idea what you're really asking. Keycaps are available all over from multiple vendors. Ebay, aliexpress, mechanicalkeyboards.com, taobao, this site, pimpymykeyboard.com

OblotzkyI obviously understand that, it's just that I think massdrop should indicate a price range: I wouldn't have felt the same if the drop said "34.99 - 199.99, plus shipping" or something similar.

BelgorathBut there is no upper limit. Why have an arbitrary "199.99"? It's not like an all you can eat buffet where once you pay 199.99 you can have whatever you want. I'm in for $400-ish and I'm sure I'm no where near the biggest spender. How about you just read the price as the minimum because honestly, the max is all your monies.
EDIT: also, if your name is a reference to Eddings' Belgarath, I heartily approve.

elFick True, I only realize now that there is no proper upper limit to what the thing would cost. And I didn't realize either that people were inclined to pay this much for a keycap set ^^
And yup, I used to be Gorath before Aldur took care of me (I wish).

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
