LunaRoseI made the ISO kit this way (Granite like), because in previous GB for kind of keysets no specific ISO kit has ever tipped before. My thougts were that ISO users should push each other instead of getting nothing, because their language ISO kit has not tipped. And before going into GB, i didn´t even thought of Carbon getting this popularity. Right now its just to late making any changes it would only bring chaos into GB.
T0mb3ryIs that how it works on MD? I was under the impression that all sub-kits automatically "tipped" once the whole drop MOQ was reached? Mito split his language packs up and we never heard anything about some kits not tipping.
ebodtActually these kits were made for PMK store. We adjusted some kits for MD. Anyway splitting ISO kit at this moment is too late. I didn´t knew about MOQs for MD. As far as i saw and know ISO kit has an MOQ of 25 kits.
TurtleMasterThats very subjective. I think best way is, you answer it yourself. Buy some single blanks of each profile and taste it :) I prefer SA, next to me one prefers DCS, the next one DSA and so on.
T0mb3ryThe appeal to me for DSA is that I can mix and match anyway I want even from different set. Buy the way I have started to press all the caps on the machine in my working place as you have predicted, they are PCB assembly machine and some are old and have DSA kind of looking.
TurtleMasterMix and match like you want is that i like the most about DSA Profile. Anyway there is also the feel and sound. Each Profile and Material, keycap is made of, contribute to those properties. I got PBT OEM keysets (Vortex and Ducky), DSA ABS (have to buy Granite someday i am sure pbt DSA feels different) and SA ABS. Each of my keysets feels and sounds different (even pbt ones because of their thickness). Its an experience which you can made only for yourself.
