I'm in the UK so use an ISO layout.
Am I right in thinking that I would need to buy the full set for $67.49 + the whole ISO set for an additional $50.99 when I'm only going to need a fraction of those keys and the rest are going to go in the bin?
Seems a little ridiculous to me.
acolesHello,
i had been ISO-De long time ago, and switched to ANSI for the following reasons. A much wider variety of nice keyboards and such a pleasing amount of alternative keycaps. I still own ISO-keyboards, remapped to ANSI to make it easier for me.
Regarding the ISO-kit you really have to try to understand that this kit supports 8 different ISO-layouts, which is more expensive for all of you with caps left out not being used.
But this is the only way to achieve an available ISOset at all.
We Europeans should think about something like ISO-EU, this way it would be much easier and reasonable for manufacturers to offer ISOsets at all.
Cheers
