Carcassonne the Discovery

Far away from the known world, vast lands of mountains, sea, and meadows thrive. Survive in the wilderness and best your competition in Carcassonne: The Discovery. The Discovery is a standalone Carcassonne game that is much simpler mechanics wise, but has a great deal of room for strategy and intrigue. This out-of-print game is finally available through Massdrop and does not require a base game.

The Discovery is a tile laying game where players are given four followers that they must place every turn. When a follower is removed from a tile, it gains value points. At the end of the game, the player with the most points wins.
