Just received mine and ran it for more than 12 hours. Feels like there is not enough High and low doesn’t extend . Is quite different to the one I heard 4 years ago. Are these B stocks or have problems? I will keep running it for longer and see.

HerbertlawMake sure you have a good seal with the eartips you are using, a bad seal will cause the problems you described. After some tests, i ended up using a pair of TS-500 comply foam tips, for me this is the best fit. Also check the parameters of the software you are using to play music, i did some tests with the USB player pro app and the software included on my Sony Xperia XZ2 compact . Both needed to adjust some parameters, the Sony software giving me better results. To expedite the break-in time, i encourage you to use the method shown in the owner’s manual. ZhiyaoYoungAt $500.00 these were a decent buy. At $150.00 they are a steal. Anyone who opines that they are lousy should probably keep their opines to themselves.

djm7845I'd say you definitely never heard the sound worth $500. Even IEMs below 100 can easily beat these trash. For example, try Periodic Audio Mg.

ZhiyaoYoungYou’re the only one who trashed them. I’ve heard them, used to own a pair, I think they’re quite good, so does everyone else. It says something that you’re the only one who dislikes them so much. Maybe it’s you.

djm7845I used to own a pair as well, and didn't use it over 10 hours and sold like new. Not everyone, I knew some people also hate these IMEs especially for its ridiculous MSRP which was over 400. Sennheiser IE8i can easily beat them, so does Sony N3AP.

ZhiyaoYoungI’m sure you’re right that there are others in the same price range that work as well or better. But I haven’t heard a lot of others. I liked them when I had them and that’s why, at this low price I’m doing it again. Cheers. D.

djm7845Well, I had listen to a pair many years ago when it was released, it sounded so much better that the one I got from Massdrop. Yes I agree that when I listened many years ago, the sound was very nice and unforgettable , but not what I got in this drop.

daidaiOne of the things I know is that arguing with audiophiles is a waste of time. I like the way they sound, they got excellent reviews when released, they're well made and comfortable. Personally , I don't give a shit if, oh, let's say the frequency response over 10 khz is rolled off, or the bass doesn't rattle all my teeth. I like them, and that's all that really matters to me. If you don't like them, that's okay by me. Oh, and as for the reason for the price drop, well, they could be coming out with a new model, they could have ended production and want to move excess inventory, maybe the company needs some cash, there's lots of reasons for reduced prices, most of which have nothing to do with quality. Jeez, arguing with an audiophile is really a waste of time.

djm7845yeah they released a lower price model with similar driver, what a generous business.
And seriously, It's not abour the roll off, the FR around 1khz out of these simply somewhat mushy, it you simply pull everything over 10khz off with foobar you will know that it matters little other than higher harmonics from violin or metallic instruments from modern rock.
It's worthwile to just pull the cable for other iem though.
BTW, someone who actually willing to compare these to 500$ iems cannot be excluded from audiophile kind, lol.

djm7845I actually agree with you on this view. All headphones, DAPs, Amps are meant to be “enjoyed” by the listener. If you like what you are listening to, don’t give a damn about how other people say. Everyone’s taste is different, choice of music is different. I worked in the industry many years ago and we know the fact the many “good reviews” are paid...... so trust who?
