Excellent boots. They are durable and made of very nice leather. I get compliments almost every time I wear them. The sizing is normal. I wear a 12 in Nike and wear a conversion size of 11 in these.

The boot looks beautiful when I received it but the dye in the leathers rub of very easily. I am new to spit shining my shoes but I have shoes from Meermin and comparable brands that retain their dye much better than these do. My shoe also came with a black spot (almost like a mole) and while it doesn't affect the overall look, it does make me think that the leather I got is of a lower quality than I can get in comparable brands. I'm not overall super impressed with the boot but I still wear them as I do get compliments. In terms of comfort, these were the most uncomfortable shoe for me to break in but after a few wears I have no qualms. YMMV but I am hesitant to purchase a carlos santos shoe when IMO Meermin is cheaper or have a higher quality leather for the same price.

I bought a pair from the previous drop (got them last week on Feb 26) and I'm impressed with the quality of these boots (ordered in Braga color). Now I'm up again for this drop, now in the Norte color. I will try yo upload photos later but these are amazing and comfortable enough for a full day of use at work. I'm keeping my for other Carlos Santos shoes drops that may appear in the near future. The price we get from Massdrop is superb, especially since it's hard to find them at US stores.
These seems to be true to size since in the previous drop went for half number up and for this one I'm using my usual Rockport size.

Unbelievable. I live in Los Angeles and usually go out in Downtown LA and Hollywood on weekend and I can tell you that there has yet to be a day when I wear my boots that I do not get a compliment by at least 2 people. As for the shoes, they are vary comfortable. I have a very skinny thin foot so most shoes end up hurting my heal area after a while, these are no exception, but given that these are not made to measure or bespoke, they are everything I paid for and more.

Some of the most comfortable boots I own, wore through the soles in just a few months of off and on use. Beautiful coloring, would buy them again in a Dainite sole.

- The sizing is off - they are smaller than labeled.
- The leather is on the thin side and the patination is delicate - I don’t think these shoes will be durable.
- The last is on the narrow and pointy side.
Other than that, these offer a good value. I don’t think they will get as much wear from me as my Crockett & Jones and Sutor Mantellassi shoes, but then again, these cost only a fraction of those shoes.
