Would these fit someone with a large/wide head? It's been a problem for me lately when ordering any type of glasses/sunglasses online, even with the specs posted.
BPlazThe vendor site describes them as "CARRERA 166/S - Oversized men's sunglasses", fwiw. I have the same problem as you: buy sunglasses online, receive them, too small/narrow for my melon (I wear a size 7 5/8 baseball fitted cap).
feverfiveO.K., tracked down specs for a old'ish pair of Maui Jim sunglasses I've had for years; work very well for my big head, and round'ish face. Lens: 60mm; bridge: 18mm; temple: 135mm
If it's me, I'm not buying glasses with lens size less than 60mm (prefer 62mm). YMMV, of course, and the whopping 1mm difference between my Maui Jim's & these Carrera's is probably imperceptible, but a guy's gotta draw the line somewhere, right? hahahaha
I think that the "Blue" mention refers to the blue tint of the lenses. The side shields are dark grey, and the picture is correct on Drop. That's what I understand from the description of the Grey/Blue color scheme on the Carrera website. (There is also a Grey/Grey color scheme, but it has black end tips so it's probably not this one.) Personally I like it a lot and I just ordered one.
