Hmm, hands no longer sync to the digital time. Tried battery change, didn’t help. Hands will just stop once in a while. Pretty sure I got a lemon. Will have to see about warranty I guess
MeanoldmanningNo manufactures warranty on this thing and MD only covers it for 30 days from date of delivery.
Estimate from Casio is between $10 and $150 to repair. Might just toss it in the bin...
So I have an upgraded version of this watch (GWN-1000) and I strongly encourage you guys to get that instead of this one:
- Triple Sensor (instead of Twin Sensor)
- Solar powered (so you don't need to change battery at all)
- Multi-band 6 (automatically synced to an atomic clock if within radio range of Casio towers)
In terms of pricing, it can be had for ~$60-70 more and I think it's totally worth it.
Overall quality as per usual of G-Shock is terrific and it just works in whatever condition you throw at it. Functionalities are great as well and it can pretty much do anything you can think of (except being a tracker/smartwatch of course).
