Players take on the role of contractors at the king’s whim, tasked with adding rooms to the structure, buying and selling services with other players, and attempting to reap the benefits of getting in the king’s good graces Read More
This game is awesome. But like many Eurogames, the instructions are long and unruly [having to deal with a ton of potential loopholes that smart asses will attempt], while the actual game play mechanics are pretty simple and you get the hang of it after a few games. Absolutely love this game .
However, the expansion is cool but seriously limits the game, in my opinion, you either "All Moat or All Don't" and once someone starts independently Moating, you either have to cut them off, or start "Swaning" it out. Play it..you will see what I mean
Excellent game - while the design is similar to Suburbia, the game play is not, and it's a game that is easy to pick up and play, but not so easy to master.
