In the latest version of Cayin’s highly regarded MT-12N amplifier, components take center stage. The biggest stars are four EL84 power tubes from Electro Harmonix—one matched pair per channel—famous for their sweet and musical tone. Controlling these classics are two 6N1 double-pole 3-pin tubes, and completing the preamp circuit is the popular 12AX7 tube. Alongside this impressive tube roster, the new MT-12N also features updated tube socket wiring, as well as gold-plated connectors for optimal durability and conductivity. Its Class A/B push-pull amplification circuit offers solid output power to suit a wide range of setups. On the redesigned wood panel, you’ll find separate outputs for 4-ohm and 8-ohm speakers, plus three line inputs with solid RCA jacks.
