CCCP Friedmann CP-7044 Automatic Watch

From the design mind of Alexander Shorokhoff, the Friedmann automatic is influenced by select vintage Russian timepieces that swapped traditional watch hands for discs and unique shapes. Here, the smaller solid disc acts as the hour hand, and the larger silhouetted disc serves as the minutes hand. The exact time can be identified by a small notch on the edge of each disc. At 6 o’clock is the date window, which looks like the numeral sits under the lens of a magnifying glass. The whole package has an ethereal, avant-garde look to it—like a piece of art floating through space. This work of art has an automatic movement inside a stainless steel case that’s 50 meters water resistant.
