Guys there is too much hate in the world ,everyone hates everyone else;who's to say who is right and who is wrong. As a lot of you have stated this "regime" has committed many atrocities; but I would suggest that nearly all world powers at one time or another have done similar. The violence and hatred will only end if you let it. I am sure in some middle east, former "soviet block" and some nameless asian countries, they feel the same about the West. Hey there are even people who hate their own countries! This is just a watch yes! But a well priced watch from a manufacturer who is just trying to feed his family and workforce ,who are probably just innocents in this hateful world, and probably in a country worse off than many of us! I have been the victim of violence because of my native country of birth and that was a western country and so were the perpetrators, sometimes ignorance breeds fear and hatred - don't let it, I know it sounds a whole lot like bible bashing but I do believe forgiveness will make you feel a whole lot better. There is a case for promoting the end of hatred through good commerce ! Well done Drop for not discriminating.

JAoneYour words" ignorance breeds fear and hatred". Is it not ignorant to being nostalgic about a mass killing regime? You can't seem to make difference between right and wrong.

JAoneYeah, one way of having a little less hate in the world is maybe to not use the name of defunct totalitarian regimes guilty of genocide as fashion brands. Or would you think it in good taste if someone were to launch a line of Third Reich watches?

CartmenHi Cartmen, you are not ignorant about your feelings of he mass killings; only of the fact that harbouring hate just goes around and around, hatred and violence only stops when we try and end it. You really should not forgive it would be impossible, but look to the future. There are many products from many countries who at one time or other have been the enemy in our eyes.

danielrehnHi Daniel, That's how we see it ,but many others don't. there must be many brands which are seen with despise by some. But I do think that your comment about the third reich is correct.

JAoneI see you have a good intent so I really don’t want to hurt your feelings but like many others here you have zero common sense to understand the issue here.

JAoneI don't want to get all @Cartmen on you, but any "well priced watch from a manufacturer who is just trying to feed his family and workforce, who are probably just innocents in this hateful world, and probably in a country worse off than many of us..." could have chosen any damn name for their watches. Why they chose that one, remains a mystery. Marketing being what it is, they might have decided on a nice Kent State Commemorative Diver, or a Tiananmen Square "times up" Chronograph, or maybe even a "chop-chop" Jamal Khashoggi moon phase tourbillon? Well--I never said I was a marketing major, but still, for the most part, entangling one's sale pitch with the efforts of any particular nation or political movement seem short-sited to me. For instance, when I strap on my Hello Kitty watch, I just naturally assume she's looking at me. I have no idea what she's actually thinking...

JAoneI apologize. I went way overboard pointing out your inability of logical thinking.

CartmenWell Cartmen, I just logically placed an order, mainly based on value for money; and I just see it as an reasonably attractive watch: I also have a Jack Mason watch somewhere in my collection so I hope I am not offending anyone with Red Indian heritage!! Thanks to Drop for giving us the opportunity to buy this watch at a good price, the cheapest I could find the model I ordered on the net was around $240 usd. or so including shipping;Drop only added $3.5 usd for the shipping to my country so I was pleasantly surprised.
