CCCP’s Sputnik-1 CP-7002 timepiece is designed in Russia with an aesthetic that harkens back to the 1960s Space Race. The dial’s complications include a 60-second subdial at 12 for running seconds, a 60-minute subdial at 6 that’s tied to the chronograph, and a date window at 3 o’clock Read More
If you were a dog during the early days of Soviet space exploration, you probably wouldn’t care for this watch:
"On 3 November 1957, the second-ever orbiting spacecraft carried the first animal into orbit, the dog Laika,[1] launched aboard the Soviet Sputnik 2 spacecraft (nicknamed 'Muttnik' in the West). Laika died during the flight, as was intended because the technology to return from orbit had not yet been developed.[1] At least 10 other dogs were launched into orbit and numerous others on sub-orbital flights before the historic date of 12 April 1961, when Yuri Gagarin became the first human in space."
I’m not implying the US program was any kinder:

While dogs don’t care about Time, we should always care about them.
Yep 👍 I actually don’t even believe that there is a real space watch per say , regardless of the claims of some watch companies. Until I go in space with their watch and test it, it ain’t true as far as I’m concerned.
Beware. I got a watch from them in a previous drop. The clasp on the band does not work and they are of NO help at all. They act like I am an idiot that does not know how to fasten a watch buckle.
Looks funky and collectable not bad at all for the price, just bought a Seiko 5, otherwise I'd grab one of these, my wife can only take so much, of another watch turning up on the door step...
