CCCP Sputnik-2 Automatic Watch
A Russian Relic, Recreated
The CCCP watch company began with a mission to engineer watches based on the storied timepieces created by the Soviet Union. Accurate in its aesthetic appeal, chosen materials, and engineering, the Sputnik-2 automatic watch is a faithful representation of many of the top watches used in Russia in the mid 20th century. Central to its design is a Slava automatic movement: one that was created and employed by famed Russian watchmakers, though rarely used today. Available here in five styles, this watch features arabic numerals, three hands with a date readout, an indexed dial, and a stainless steel case.
