If I'm going to be driving 600 Ohm headphones, it's probably better to wait for the PX/Integrated version to drop again, correct?

VarholiaglimpIm running dt880 600ohms. no problems at all. You will blast ur ear drums if u go past 12 o"clock

ChoiytThanks for the feedback, Choiyt. I'm more concerned about whether the DACmini drives your DT880 600s well sound-wise (soundstage, frequency range, etc.) than how loud it gets.

CEntranceCEntrance: My question really concerned whether the DACmini CX's amp will drive 600 ohm headphones to their fullest sound potential or whether you'd recommend another CEntrance DAC/amp for that purpose (and if so, which).

VarholiaglimpYes, no issues. Will drive just fine. DACmini is excellent at driving high impedance, hard to drive cans. This is well-documented by independent reviews.

VarholiaglimpIt really depends on ur headphone, but I'm satisfied with mine. It was an upgrade from Aune T1.
