Quick update for the the group. The vendor let us know that the new estimated ship date is now 1/9. We are working with them to see if this can be moved up and will update the group if anything changes in regards to fulfillment time.
Expect an update from us on 1/9 or sooner if something comes up.

Yes the vendor is now stating 1/9. Unfortunately this will miss the estimated ship date, but these will be worth the wait!

I had the same experience. They never reply and they didn't cancel my order. I suggest you actually get someone's attention and get this sorted out.

Im going to say the item actually does arrive, so if you are worried about that, do not be. But as for getting a reply, it's a crap experience. I have bought 4?5? stuff from here, they all did arrive. Some actually do arrive faster than I expected, but mostly negative experience comes comes from vendors and the person whoever is in charge of this drop.
Edit/ @shungAs far as compensation goes, you are getting this for half the MRSP.

Choiyt summed it up pretty well about Massdrop. I was in on the first drop of the Dacmini CX and we ended up waiting quite awhile with all kinds of misinformation about which mods would ship when, etc. You must take anything Massdrop tells you with a "grain of salt" when it comes to timelines and what is actually happening. It was quite frustrating at times. But you will eventually receive the item. In the case of the Dacmini CX it was definitely worth the wait as it sounds awesome. Hope this helps.
