MehereIf you are planning to connect another amp to the output of the DACport LX, then there is absolutely no need for 1 Ohm mod.

maikuirockNot easily. So yes, you will be double amping, which is sort of unnecessary if you ask my opinion, since the amp in DACport is pretty darn good. It was on the cover of Stereophile, after all. This is to say that most people don't need the LX. Get the regular DACport and you will be very happy.
