@CEntrance - I understand the need for the 1ohm mod for low impedance cans, but what effect sonically will it have on my 300 ohm Senns or 600 ohm Beyers? Also, if I think I might use this as a DAC/Preamp for some powered speakers, I assume the 1ohm is preferred. Thanks for any insight you can provide before I jump :)

10 Ohm vs 1 Ohm makes no difference with 300 cans. Also no difference when using another amp following the DACport. Again, with 1 Ohm, be careful about running 10+ ft cables. The original 10 Ohm DACport is a little more forgiving of longer cables and gives slightly more relaxed sound to some low-impedance cans.. Otherwise, 1 Ohm is really all you need, with its slightly tighter sound on low impedance cans.
