this or the shiit fulla??
Two different animals. DACport HD fits in the hand (it's the size of a sigarette lighter) and is extremely portable. Some people do use it on the desktop but it realy shines when you move around with your laptop. Takes no space in the computer bag. So choose DACport HD if size and drive capability are important. Also choose DACport HD for high resolution music at up to 384kHz, incl. DSD. The other product you mention maxes out at 96kHz and is a desktop-only solution.
the schiit is garbage. i returned mine twice then sold it. it has poor RF shielding, poor components, and the customer support people are jerks about it, telling me that essentially i got what i paid for.
oh that is bad . What did you get afterwards? I'm thinking about getting a DAC/AMP not for portable use though
