I got my Kaiser 10 Encore CIEMs a couple weeks ago, and I've had trouble finding something that sounds decent with them. My powerful stuff is too strong and adds some weird distortion, but my littler stuff doesn't want to play nice with them, and adds some noticeable noise. They're delicate.
Right now, the best thing I have to play them is an old Nuforce μDAC 2, but it doesn't have the world's greatest soundstage, and it still adds a little hum, easy to notice when you plug them in and out. Plus it weighs quit a bit more than 2.5 ounces, which precludes carrying it around my neck on a really long USB cable while I do stuff.
Would the DACport be a better fit? I'm hoping for super-clean sound; little or no noise or distortion from the device. I'd prefer to hear from someone who has the same or comparable IEMs.

This has a mild noise floor which can be heard on 32ohm IEMs. So unfortunately I think this isn't the device for you.

Rats. Thanks, anyway; appreciate the response.
