Ok I'm fairly new to world of decent headphones and I know basically nothing about DACs and headphone amps. Just what I've read on Lifehacker and Massdrop.
I am Interested in getting something like this, or the Sound Blaster E3, but I am curious if this will make that much of a difference with my AudioTechnica M50x, also I usually listen to my music from Spotify rather than a bunch of fancy FLAC files or other lossless source.
Am I missing out on something by not having a good DAC/Amp?

Pardon my being direct, but you need to do yourself a favor and get a good DAC for your headphones. We've found early on (back in 2009, when we developed the original DACport Classic) that DAC quality is lacking on a lot of cheaper equipment, and that often becomes the weakest link in the digital audio chain.
Here with DACport Slim, you are getting the benefit of seven solid years of experience making portable DACs, which sound like much more expensive desktop DACs. So when you see the price, you will be impressed. And when you hear it, it will be "night and day" difference, as our customers usually report.

How does this compare to the Sound Blaster E3 that is also offered by Massdrop?
