kazamahifiguy528 had a nice trick for getting a USB dac/amp to work with mobile devices that you can find in the video below. Skip ahead to 4:15 for an explanation of his trick for getting the Apogee Groove to work with an iPhone.

It worked nicely for me with another product. I've already pre-ordered my DACport HD, so I'm hoping this trick works for that as well. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

freshearsThis hack should work, it's like using an external USB hub, something we've recommended for DACport Classic users since 2009.
BTW, DACport Slim offers serious competition to Apogee Groove. DACport Slim is smaller, more powerful and offers an intuitive rotary volume control, v.s. inconvenient push buttons. Oh, and it's 1/3 the price (courtesy of Massdrop and CEntrance).
