It works on the USB 3.0 port on my laptop but not the 2.0 ports. Any help for this?
When you change the sample rate in the CEntrance USB Audio app, you also have to change the sample rate in the Speakers Properties menu. Otherwise no audio comes out. This may be the problem some people are experiencing.
For me the sample rate option is grayed out in Windows' sound control panel properties when the dacport is working.
I haven't tried my laptop though, which has the garbled static effect. Let me go do that.
Finally got it "working" after re-plugging it into the computer about a dozen times. Selection menu is still grayed out, sound is still staticy. I see that on this computer it's apparently limited to 24-bit, 96000hz. When it works on my desktop computer, I can select all the way up to 192kHz.
