Ok, so I've been out of town for two weeks and came back to 20 more pages of this thread lol.
I have not been able to get mine to work yet on Windows 7 64-bit. I did receive the new cable from Massdrop. Is there a newer driver that I can try to install since I tried three weeks ago? Has there been any updates? I don't feel like wading through 20+ pages to find out. Thanks!
If I download the universal driver from the Centrance website, is that the new version everyone has been installing from this thread or do I need to special link to the correct driver?

Pachoo5The most recent Windows driver is v7.4.18 released on Sept. 26, although we're expecting an update supporting Windows 10 any day now. In addition, the new firmware solves many USB issues. You need a driver that sees your DACport Slim on at least one USB port in order to update the firmware.

VortexSTThank you! I downloaded the new universal drivers, version x.18, and it still didn't work, same error message. I have been working with Dave from Centrance tech support who has been very helpful. He was able to figure out that it installed correctly but windows wouldn't let it run because it thought the driver was malicious.
I rebooted my computer, F8ed it to disable digital signature verification, and voila, it works now.
I think before I had done something screwy with my computers digital signature verification process to allow some unsigned drivers from another device to run and maybe that messed up this installation.

Pachoo5No, it's a common problem - solution is not quite easy one - you have to enable testsigning and explicitly add exception for ceusbaud.sys.
