Enjoying my DACport Slim purchase. Sounds really great. NO REGRETS! Do it. Using Sennheiser URBANITE XL headphones to great effect.

Glad you are enjoying it. Would you be interested in a version with a built-in battery? Works with all phones and doesn't take their power. Let us know if that would be a useful feature.

Any chance we could get a slim and sleek battery attachment that is custom built to fit the current Dacport Slim? The Battpack Trim for the Dacport Slim perhaps? ;)

I'm afraid it's more like a new product. Still hush-hush at the moment. Basically imagine that Slim became a little thicker. We were thinking of calling it Phat, but it may not be politically correct ;)

Darn, I have to buy an entirely new doohickey. I was hoping for a doodad for the thingamajig I already enjoy and bought.

Maybe sell the thingamajig later and take a chance on the entirely new doohickey when it finally comes out. Wubalubadubdub! :)

I'd be interested in a version with a battery, but it would have to be a compact inline device like the DACport Slim, i.e. not another large outboard DAC/amp that get strapped to a phone with clunky rubber bands.

Yes, we have similar thoughts. Just a slightly thicker, inline version, very much in the same family.

This is great news. I have been waiting for something like this. I have been hesitating buying a DACPort because of the lack of internal battery or the ability to work with mobile devices without the need for an external battery pack. Keep up the good work.

ABSOLUTELY. Battery power is generally cleaner anyway, correct? Beautiful work!
