Weirdly I stopped getting sound from the DACport Slim the next day after my PC woke up from hibernation . After some testing apparently setting Sample Rate to 96khz caused it. Putting the Sample Rate back to the default 192khz solved the issue.
Latency : 10.0 ms (what does this do?)
Sample Rate : 192000 Hz
Output Format 24/32 bits
ASIO Hosts can change option ticked.
Many OS's have a problem where usb devices will not function or correctly function after hibernation. Google your OS with usb device hibernation problem.
Yeah I know. Not working after hibernation was the when and not the why =D
Even when the DACport Slim is working perfectly fine, whenever I switch the Sample Rate to 96000 Hz the sound just cuts off.
Hmm, if I had to wager a guess it probably has something to do with some legacy software you have installed. Try to look for some old sound related software you might have running and temporarily disable it to see if it magically fixes the problem. If it fixes the problem and you won't miss the software remove it... or disable it from starting up if you are unsure if you will miss it.
Hmm, I'll try that out. Once I got the time to actually sit down at my PC. Nowadays I want my bed more then my PC XD
