I was wondering if the sound signature was similar to the GLove A1 when paired with the AK series of headphones via optical input?

Manny07Sound signature is similar, but you get more and richer options with the HiFi-M8. A more powerful output, more inputs, tone shaping. You can consider that A1 is HiFi-M8 with only one input.
