Still not so clear to me, will this work with an iBasso DX90, (which I have), Samsung YPP (which I also have), Fiio X3 (which I also have, I know, don't rub it in), iPod Touch? If it does, I believe I'm in. On another note, has anyone compared it to a Geek Out (I have the 1K)? Thanks

As long those can output the digital signals, it should be fine. It looks like the HiFi-M8 doesn't have an analog input which would allow you to use just use the amp section (and bypass the DAC). So, looks like you'll need to feed it a digital signal. You should be good off of the FiiO X3 and iBasso DX90 (I believe you can connect them to the HiFi-M8 over a usb-on-the-go connection). I am actually a little surprised to learn that the HiFi-M8 doesn't accept digital coax input, which both of those support with their outputs. It looks like the Mini-M8 does support those, though. You may also be able to do digital coax to optical toslink, but that may require another converter. The iPod Touch should work with either the native Apple usb port or the standard usb port and the camera connector kit.
I don't know about the Samsung YPP. but if it can connect to devices out of the usb connection, it should work.
I am actually really surprised that digital coaxial isn't supported by the HiFi-M8, but I guess I don't use it that much -- I prefer using an optical toslink cable instead, and would rather have the optical toslink rather than the digital coaxial.
If you need a DAC / amp that supports the digital coaxial, optical toslink, line level input (for just using the amp section), and supports USB, I might recommend looking at the Leckerton Audio UHA-6S.mkii, which is also on InnerFidelity's Wall of Fame.
