Ok, so.. is anyone using these with a regular receiver? I haven't thumbed through all of the comments yet. I simply see everyone talking about amps. I want these to replace my bookshelf speakers. Am I barking up the wrong tree?

rbrightI am currently using these connected to my HT receiver. I have them set as Speaker B, so I can toggle back and forth between the 5.1 speakers and these. I am still in the break-in period (not enough time to listen); so far, I am happy with them, but as others have said, they are sensitive to setup and positioning. I'm not sure if general bookshelf usage is the best use for them, but they are definitely nice speakers at a great price. In fact, they are causing me to spend more to create a "listening station".
