Not sure why all the outrage. Sound claims aside; it looks like a decently built cable. At $100 for an 8ft pair that's in the 'reasonable' ballpark to me. Sure you can build your own for cheaper or go monoprice (or others). It's not like you're buying new cables every week though, doesn't seem like a huge cash grab to me.
Been pleased with Centrance products in the past. They're usually solid.
...And to the guy saying he can wire his speakers with coat hangers? sure, but why would you want to?
