@ Michael Goodman of CEntrance - I must ask, especially in the light of all this Controversy.
And because in response, I mentioned the High - Capacitance ' Cobra Cable ' of old.
Does a specific amount of Capacitance, enter into the design of Your " speaker cable " ?
btw - If anyone is interested ; Sandy Gross of 'Golden Ear' (and formerly of Polk and Definitive ), does talk about the above mention Cobra Cable, in a 'Q & A', on YouTube.
Agree with Sandy or Not; " He's as constant as the Northern Star ! "
I just trust, that Sandy and my fate is better than Caesar's ! ;)
edit : below is a link to a interview of Sandy Gross, He gave on the Home Theater Geeks Show on the TWIT web network. It's an extensive one of 59 minutes. And Only , during the last few minutes ( ~ 56:23 ) does Sandy cover the matter of Cables and Speaker Wire. But I hope, You'll find Not only that to be of interest.
He's a real interesting Guy. I first got to know him when He and his partner, as Teens became Millionaires, by building & Racing Slot Cars Professionally .
After not seeing Him for years; We met after I joined a thriving Hi - fi shop, on East 8th St.
(Greenwich Village) , in New York City - 'The Electronic Workshop', in 1980.
Sitting over the original location of 'Patricia Field's (the designer for 'Sex in the City').
We shared a lot of the same celebrity clientele, to include Stevie Wonder...
and where I also met Sammy Figueroa . I only met Sammy, a couple of times;
including a Taxi ride with a fellow percussionist ("un Cubano "- who's name evades me for now).
I'm certain He remembers, Bill Winkler, Len Chase, and perhaps Alan Rhode ? Regardless, enjoy:
