DenonFanboyNot the worlds greatest fidelity but I like my XPA-100's and they only cost me $600 a pair (several years back). Used mono's can be had regularly in the $300 ball park (each). I've not had any experience with them but Emotiva makes a cheaper mono these days, it's class D ICE module and not AB like my 100's.

DenonFanboyNot at all insinuating one should build a system on cables, just pointing out mono's don't have to cost an arm, leg and a kidney.
