Chane A1.4 Speakers

An upgrade of Chane’s acclaimed A1rx-c speaker, which CNET called “almost too good to be true,” the A1.4 delivers a bigger, clearer, and more dynamic sound that just about any other speaker in its class. How does it do it? For this model, Chane updated both its flat leaf tweeter and its trademark XBL2 SplitGap midwoofer. The high-output tweeter has a new molded aluminum faceplate for a smoother, more extended response to beyond 30 kHz. Meanwhile, the SplitGap woofer provides better resolution and up to double the linear volume displacement of conventional drivers—all while slashing distortion by more than half. Completing the A1.4 are a CAD-designed and hand-tuned high-grade crossover network and a trim, heavy-duty enclosure for a better fit in crowded entertainment centers.
