I agree with the rest of you good people. Something seems askew. Do a search on the Chane A1rx-c and look down for the SlickDeals' "[Last day] Chane A1rx-c(Arx A1b upgrade) Bookshelf Speaker Pair $264.98 shipped@Massdrop." Then, the price was more in line with a true discount, viz., $239.99 and $24.99 shipping.
I have talked with the owner of Chane in the past and this Massdrop program does not seem in keeping with the sterling image that his company normally projects.
Although a price increase over last year is appropriate, a Massdrop deal that in the final analysis equating to retail seems inappropriate. JMTCW

A single speaker on Chane is $149.00, if the lowest price on Massdrop can be $129.99, the difference is more like $20.00, which is close to 13%. How did you guys get to the 56%?

56% off? Are you kidding? People who are likely to buy these speakers know well that MSRP listed is for the pair, meaning 2 speakers. With shipping and tax added, you better off just buying directly from the Chane website, even if by some miracle it will hit the lowest price.

I just contacted customer support and they said it will be 29 each for shipping, 60 for the pair.

Heard back from customer support. Shipping is $29.99 per pair. I assume the center is separate shipping.
