Hi everyone thank you for all the feedback. Just to answer a couple of points raised in the discussion. First we can offer the waterproof liner directly if anyone wants one just hit the contact button on our website and let us know. Second on the comparison with Billingham camera bags. They are great bags first of all. Just on the technical points raised, our cotton canvas is triple layered with a natural rubber core so it is indeed waterproof. As far as protecting the main compartment from rain is concerned, we use a fishing gusset which is an extension of the side panel you can see in the drop images. Other bags (like Billingham) use a pinched flap to serve the same purpose. Hope everyone who has participated in the drop has enjoyed it and may your Troutbecks serve you well for many years!
