Small, Sophisticated & Swiss Made

A family-run Swiss company since 1983, Charriol makes luxury timepieces, fine jewelry, and other accessories. The St. Tropez quartz ladies’ watch is an elegant 30-millimeter timepiece with a black, silver, and white theme. The abstract dial has slim lines that radiate out from the center for the hours, while a subdial at 6 o’clock keeps track of running seconds. Outside of the markers are polished metal studs. The bezel is adorned with Roman numerals in silver. Polished lugs and keepers help tie the luxurious look together. Plus, the watch is constructed with a stainless steel case and sapphire crystal for durability.

[Caution: read all the way to the bottom, as I updated this post with some important information.] They seem to be known for these "cable straps." It's not clear how or if you can adjust the size. Perhaps they are made to be worn bangle style. From Wikipedia: Philippe Charriol ... was the first jeweler to use gold cable, or steel cable, as decorative motifs and as watch bracelets. This concept is patented by CHARRIOL and the brand holds exclusive worldwide rights over it. This cable material is the key element of the brand’s Jewelry collections and is featured on all accessories of the brand. More: "Black cable jewellery items are coated under PVD process, same as the other materials plating in gold and silver, its plating after a duration of use could fade. Do not scratch them on hard surface and avoid contact with salt-water, chemicals like soap, perfume on the coating surface." More: Yep, seems like a bangle. This video shows that the cable is stiff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKdrTIWR-Ps Here from about 1:00, no clasp, you just push you hand through the slot, an there's a chain I guess you put around your wrist, although the watch in this drop doesn't seem to have that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsvUhJHIdr8 Update: From about 2:15 in the video they show a watch with a black rubber strap with a cable pattern, Maybe that's what this is? On closer inspection of the photograph, the strap seems to be a rubber strap with a tongue visible. Pity. The cable gimmick was intriguing.
