Serrated Blade & 100-Watt Motor
The Chef’s Choice electric slicers have a 7-inch stainless steel serrated blade that can easily cut through a variety of foods, including meat, cheese, vegetables, and bread. They have a large, fully retractable tilting food carriage, which allows you to slice larger foods, such as roasts and hams. The slicers are designed with removable parts for easy cleaning. The safety button lets you secure the carriage in a locked position to limit access to the blade. At 8.5 pounds, the newer 609 model is lighter because it has fewer metal components. The 610 model weighs 10 pounds with more stainless steel and cast aluminum as part of its structure. Both models have thickness control for slices up to ¾-inch thick.
