Thicc and quality - nuff said
I was surprised by the good quality and how thick it was. It's nice and big and perfect for my setup. I'm debating getting other colors due to how impressed I am. It comes in a cool little bag and doesn't have that laying issue some mats have. I got the black with pink accents. I can say for certain, this one turned out excellent.

good mousepad! but a few minor issues
it's overall a pretty great product with a few minor QC issues as other reviews have said. there's a few tiny paint stains and the stitching on the left side of my mat is a little loose but nothing that warrants a refund for me (your opinion may differ idk). the main thing I'm disappointed with is how easily it stains. I've used this as my daily driver deskmat for about a month now and it already has some pretty ugly stains. first stain: I set down a cup that had some condensation on the outside because it was cold and the water stained a ring into my deskmat, very disappointing. where my hands rest to type on my keyboard is also stained though that may wash off with some spot washing, I'll have to try. and where I use my mouse on my mat is heavily stained with a big splotch both where my hand rests to use it and where the mouse actually travels on the deskmat. I'm not sure if this is from the pads on the bottom of the mouse or the adhesive leaking around said pads but it's quite disappointing as I have a big brown rainbow on the right side of my mousepad. overall I still recommend it but be warned it has a few issues. idk if it's just me having the issues with staining but yeah.

Not waterproof, creases, wrong color
i ordered the teal variation and the color was WAY darker. the photo makes the teal color look way lighter than what it actually looks like. also, after any bend in the mousepad, it PERMANENTLY creases, and you can see the creases because they are lighter than the rest of the desk mat. lastly, in the description it says that it is water-proof but this is COMPLETELY false. this sucks in water faster than a sponge. please dont buy this!!!

Not a quallity product, in my eyes...
Im rating the color-gradiant version of this desk mat.
Just after the unpackaging I found a black color touch all over the mat, as if the printing wasn't properly done or the printer had a malfuction/ the color patrons were empty. The picture captured it way to extreme due to my crappy phone and the little light, but it definitifely is noticable for me when just looking on the mat in a environment with a little light, like I like to have it in my working room.

Cheap and very higjhh quality

Good quality but unusable for me
I ordered the black version. The print and material quality is very good, but it is making my optical mouse cursor jump around. I own several other mouse mats and I haven't had this issue before. I made sure to clean the sensor, wash the mouse mat, and double checked the issue by swapping mats. Sadly I can't use it.

The quality of this desk mat is good. But it's not perfect.
On black one I got some white paint stain. It's not critical, I just need noticed about it.
On violet with yellow switch, I got 2 stripes on desk mat.

The Short and Sweet: This is a great desk mat. I upgraded my desk recently and finally had space for something larger than a standard QcK. The design is attractive and is applied immaculately, so while some users have noted blemishes mine is 100% perfect. The stitching is also an area many users had complaints with, but mine's excellent around the entire length. The pad gives ample room for multiple items I keep near my desk, while also giving me more mouse area than the QcK I replaced. Mouse Tracking/Surface: I've used a lot of mice, and a few mousepads over the years. This tracks as well as any mousepad I've had (perhaps it wouldn't with older mice, who knows, sensors have come a long way). The only thing I noticed was I had to readjust to the friction, as it's a fair deal more slippery than the QcK I was using. That said, it's a new mat and that friction will likely break in with use. I prefer the extra speed as a wrist user (when gaming), so this is a non-issue for me, but I could see it putting off other users. It'll never be as fast as a hard pad, but I've always found hard surfaces difficult to be precise on, and they wear down far worse than cloth. Other Thoughts: My mat is the black/white/red version, and I love it, but it's maybe a 75% black. Solid black peripherals stand off of it, and while I don't know if that'd bother anyone, it's still worth noting. That said, the nature of dye/pigment/press-vinyl printing is it will always produce colors that aren't as vibrant as what you'll see on screen. This is worth noting for the people who were surprised it might not have been as colorful as they expected. The other thing of note is I saw a user in the discussions saying this was "smaller than most deskmatt's." Desk mats are not of any standard size, but this falls within a close proximity to many (outside of extra long options, or something like a SteelSeries QcK 3XL). The mat is 35.4" x 15.7" which is notably larger than a faux leather mat I have on another desk. With this being said, all the mats currently being sold on Drop (as of this review) are the exact same dimensions. If the size isn't enough for you, I strongly suggest something like a QcK 3XL/4XL/5XL, but those run $50, $80 and $100 respectively. Bottom Line: You could certainly do a lot worse for $20. There's plenty of pads from bigger names that cost more and aren't any better. So, while you might be missing out on something arbitrary like RGB lighting, you're still getting a high performance, well-constructed desk mat that looks great and has considerable surface area. Based on my experience I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a Chenyi mat to anyone in the market for one.
