Cherry MX Green Switches

In the world of mechanical keyboard switches, no name is bigger than Cherry. One of the rarer switches in the Cherry lineup is the Cherry MX Green. Both a tactile and a clicky switch, Greens are similar to Blues, only stiffer and heavier. Due to the actuation force needed (80 centinewtons), the switch feels similar to a buckling spring (which takes about 70 centinewtons to actuate). The slower you press, the more you’ll feel the spring at work. Overall, Greens are designed for more heavy-handed typists.
