I love these switches. I got them for my DROP + OLKB PREONIC KEYBOARD MX KIT V3 so I could use it in the office (open floor plan). I really love these. Soft, a little heavy, satisfying low *thock* sound. After lubing they felt just a little mushy, but I'm a little heavy handed... I actually preferred them like this.
The first time I tried these switches were on a soldered board and I liked them so much I had to get some on my other boards. I know linears aren't for everyone especially ones that don't give you satisfying typing sounds but for me I really like typing on the Cherry Silent Reds where each key press my fingers are like a cat landing silently, leaping from platform to platform. Or a gymnast landing every jump with grace.

Now, I'm typing on these stock so there is a bit of scratchiness as expected but will definitely lube them in the future for optimal key pressing.
I'd like to add that these are perfect when you're working from home even with a mic that cancels background sounds.

These 3 pin switches sound amazing when out in my keyboard they are very quiet. The only problem that I had while ordering these switches were, when I received these switches in the mail opened them and put them in my keyboard a numerous amount of the switches had bent pins but they were very easy to bend back in place.
I make custom boards, and a client asked for extra quite keys. I purchased these and spent the energy to hand lube 108 of them before installing them. The clients tested out the keys and when I asked how they sounded, he said, "They don't...". He was more than pleased. I will say that lubing them is required to get them as quiet as possible. However, without lubing they are still rather quiet.
I'm coming from a prebuilt with cherry mx browns. I feel like my current keyboard does take more effort to register keypresses when compared to the MX brown one. I suppose I'm still getting familiarized with it as I had my previous keyboard since 2017. The new keyboard has the following components: (Keychron K6 pro barebones + MX Silent Red +Akko Chicago Keycaps). These switches are really quiet and do feel good. Out of the box, they sound slightly scratchy. They sound way better when lubed, which could take hours and can be tedious for a first-timer. The difference in sound is audible so it is highly recommended.
I bought these to have a keyboard that I could use while taking notes during telecons (my Cherry Blues and Holy Pandas were very noticeable). Out of the box they are definitely quieter than a typical keyboard, but lubed they are the quietest keyboard I have every used (don't forget to lube your stabilizers as well). I was very satisfied with the sound and the feel is very buttery. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a quiet keyboard. If you lube them you will be very satisfied. If you don't lube them you'll get to better, but not perfect.
